CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Expert JMS maintains a strong commitment to corporate responsibility. We have taken steps to transform our operations with a focus on sustainability, and continue to examine ways in which we can reduce our impact on the environment. We also engage in multiple activities in partnership with our customers that benefit various causes both locally and nationally. We invite you to learn more about our social responsibility in these areas.
Sustainability Commitment
Expert JMS is committed to sustainability in its own operations and also offers sustainable program design services to customers seeking either basic green cleaning solutions or full LEED certification for their locations. We have incorporated our sustainability commitment into all of our operations, including fleet and travel management, equipment procurement, and solid waste management. As an example, we are replacing our field management fleet with all-hybrid or all-electric model vehicles, and expect to reduce our carbon footprint by approximately ten tons per year per replaced vehicle for an overall 37% reduction in our fleet’s annual emissions. Separately, in our Knoxville headquarters and various locations nationwide, we have also made substantial investments in sustainability, with mandated recycling programs focused on solid and electronic waste reduction, and a corporate-wide program focused on reducing our consumption of paper.
Corporate Citizenship
In partnership with its customers, Expert JMS remains dedicated to socially responsible activities
across our regions. We volunteer and provide financial support to many non-profit organizations focused on some of the most difficult regional, national and global problems, and also contribute to disaster relief efforts in affected communities in our service geographies. Some of the organizations that we have assisted include: the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, the Children’s Miracle Network, local and national hunger relief organizations (primarily food banks), Race for the Cure, and Children’s Hospital (various), among others. We are very proud of our work as a good national corporate citizen and support our Associates’ endeavors in their own communities.
